Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services), Leeds

This exciting position is with a growing M&E Design Consultancy that has recruited a number of new staff over the last few months despite the current economic climate. Presently busy with a range of schemes from light industrial units to student residential to warehouse and on to major town centre redevelopments and remodelling, it is an exciting time. They are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team to work with colleagues completing these schemes and the many others which are in the pipeline. You will be working with colleagues to support them with the delivery of works while also helping less experienced Engineers with their own personal and professional development in this varied post. It is essential that you have worked in the field of electrical building services design previously and this may well have been within either a consultancy or contracting environment; the company has work at the pre and post contract stage of design. You should be qualified in building services or electrical engineering, or possibly Architectural Engineering with an electrical bias to your studies, to a minimum of HNC/HND level while you will ideally have a degree. Support is available for you to gain a MSc if you do not already have one while the organisation is very supportive of anyone who wishes to become Chartered.
