Senior Level Solicitor - Immigration Law This is a brand new created role, for a growing solicitors of 40 people, that specialise in family & Criminal law, they are looking to enter Immigration law, offering a supportive work environment. If you have a great follwing and specialism is non-contentious Immigration law, and you have a breadth of experience across this field to include Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 4, Tier 5 as well as Appendix and nationality applications then this newly created role could be the ideal next move. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is well established & networked in to Immigration Law with a high standard of knowledge and expertise in that area. If you desire a challenge of setting up a brand new business area department, and growing it with autonomy and reward over the long term, then this could be for you. Case generation & Business development The ideal candidate will be 5+ PQE, with extensive immigration experience ) and have honed communication and relationship building skills IMMIGRATION SOLICITOR: With a significant folllowing, additonal key knowledge and experience of UK Corporate immigration issues including Tier 1 and Tier 2, you will be working with corporate clients on their business immigration requirements. You must possess excellent drafting skills, legal analysis, verbal & written communication skills and employment law knowledge. An ability and willingness to complete marketing and business development activities is also essential. Able to apply the law with a degree of commerciality and be prepared to give your viewpoint to clients and have experience of training seminars and workshop programmes for employers would also be advantageous. Independently managing your own casework, you will be liaising with clients and providing advice over the telephone and other mediums, drafting lists of documents, covering letters and general case correspondence with the Home Office and other authorities, preparing appeal applications, grounds of appeal, witness statements with occasional representations in Tribunals. It is essential to have strong ethical standards, team spirit, be humble and passionate about the work carried out, able to work to strict deadlines and above all have good organisational and methodical skills.
