Qualified Social Worker - Central FACT Team, Bedlington

Seven Social Care are looking for a Temporary Children's Social Worker based in Bedlington, Northumberland. This is on a temporary full time contract. The role: Experienced Social Worker required for Central Locality based in Bedlington providing a Statutory Social Work Service within Northumberland. Working with children on CIN/CP and Looked After. Northumberland provide strength based practice adopting Signs of Safety as practice model in supporting families in times of adversity and crisis. Workers receive monthly supervision and in addition are supported in Group supervision with an established supportive team Key Responsibilities: To promote and support (children and/or their families) when in crisis, or breakdown to remain with their families or with their identified carers. To provide direct social work intervention to (children, young people and their families) in the community. Ensure that at all times you work with a commitment to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK. Compliance: Up to date HCPC registration and DBS. Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently. Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
