Storeman Cheshire - Nantwich The opportunity has arisen for a Storeman to join the depot in Cheshire. The purpose of the role is to support the business and provide high quality stock control. This is a diverse role which includes various skills from admin, coordination to hands on maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in a previous role and be adaptable. As the Storeman you will be responsible for: Raise orders for waste removal, skips, plant, materials, PPE and tools. Maintain stock levels. Reconcile invoices and queries. Carry out depot audits as required. Obtain COSHH information. Control maintenance of servicing log sheet for all small plant and loader shovel. Hire/off hire plant. Managing waste and record keeping. Manage depot and keep in good order/Signage. Accept, receive and load materials. Control, monitor and record street lighting equipment. Ensure that the depot Health and Safety rules are enforced. Raise all orders in relation to keeping operational staff able to deliver in line with the business plan objectives. Operate and manage Moos system and hot boxes. Undertake site inductions to visitors and ensure they comply with depot H&S rules. The Storeman will have: Understanding of products require to deliver. IT skills to order on line via procurement. Legislation on movement of waste and duty of care. Able to store the variety of products in a safe manner and secure. Awareness of stock holding to deliver. Demonstrate value. Operators CITB licence for tele-handler. Knowledge of street lighting electrical equipment.
