Nursery Manager, Leeds

Fantastic opportunity available! A full time nursery manager role is available now in the Garforth area (LS25) of Leeds starting in September 2020. The position is full time working 5 days a week on a rota basis between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm. Exact shift times would be confirmed if successful at interview. Salary up to £30k a year DOE! You will ideally hold EYPS or EYTS but a minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare (NVQ, CACHE, NNEB) is required. You will have up to date knowledge on the EYFS and safeguarding policies and must have experience in a management or deputy role within early years. What is on offer? Negotiable, attractive salary Staff parking Career progression Permanent contract Your main duties would include: Ensuring the nursery meets Ofsted and early years foundation stage standards Creating a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning Ensuring staff are up to date with safeguarding and first aid training Recruiting new staff members and holding interviews Conducting parent show-rounds and open evenings Building relationships with parents and relevant agencies Maintaining the nursery standards and reputation Working with the nursery directors to ensure the setting is ran smoothly and efficiently To be successful in your application, you will: Have a minimum of 3 years work experience with children Be qualified to level 3 or above Have 2 years minimum experience in a managerial role within a private nursery or children centre setting Have experience of supervising staff Be able to provide recent employment references including childcare Be able to lead a team using and implementing the EYFS statutory framework If you feel you are ready for your next role and have the right skills and experience to apply then send your CV today!
