Management Accountant, East of England

Excellent Management Accountant opportunity in Thurrock, Essex £35,000 - £38,000 Permanent My client has been operating since 2017 but have rapidly expanded with further plans they would like to complete by end of 2021. They are based in Thurrock (Essex) and are seeking for a Management Accountant to join their friendly and motivated Finance team. The company has a fantastic team culture and the successful candidate will be keen to get stuck in and be a self motivated team player who picks things up quickly. The role will report into the Head of Finance. Main responsibilities for the Management Accountant will be: Preparation of Management Accounts Produce Financial reports on a monthly basis Analysis of variances against budget and looking into any discrepancies Assisting heavily with budgeting and forecasting Provide financial support for decision making Help develop the finance system Calculation, presentation and payment of VAT You will: Be studying towards ACCA or CIMA or equivalent Have previously worked within a Management Accounts in a fast-paced environment Be a self motivated, team player Have strong Excel skills Be able to prioritise and manage own workload in a busy environment Have proven technical ability - this is crucial for this role Have knowledge of Business Central, part of Microsoft Dynamics - this is advantageous This role of Management Accountant will have a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 depending on experience and is based in Thurrock.
