If so, this role may be perfect for you! We are looking for a welder fabricator to start ASAP for an engineering firm based in Stowmarket, Suffolk. This role is starting off as a 4-month contract but is likely to continue rolling & eventually go permanent. To be successful for this role, you MUST be able to MIG weld mild & stainless steel up 20mm. You will be required to work independently so it is essential that you can read and work from engineering drawings and comply with weld symbols and standards as required. Welder duties include: MIG welding fabricating from 2mm - 20mm Fabricating with various hand & power tools Use of cutting, drilling & grinding machinery Always follow & adhere to the companies' health and safety standards As you will be expected to hit the ground running, we are only considering welders with 5+ years' experience in the field. This position is likely to become a permanent position subject to a successful probation trial period.
