Supply SEND Teaching Assistant, Leicester

TeacherActive are currently seeking new SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team of dedicated staff who are available to provide cover in a school on a short term and long-term basis. We work with a wonderful all ages SEND School in Leicester and assist daily with providing them cover on a day to day and long-term basis. We have a variety of positions available to suit your experience and work requirements. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria to register with us. Criteria: * Experience working with children who have a variety of needs such as; Autism, ADHD and SEMH difficulties ( essential ). * 6 months' experience supporting pupils across Primary or Secondary school ages (essential) * Experience supporting Personal Care * Familiar with programmes such as Makaton and PEC's * A good understanding for the different types of support pupils with SEN require * Able to work off your own initiative and feedback to senior members of staff We offer: * A complete online registration process * Competitive pay rates (dependant on experience) * PAYE - get paid directly into your account without any fee's * Experience consultant to help support you with the transition into a new School All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you're paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there's no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
