HGV Workshop Manager - Leicester Salary: Competitive The company: My client is a large company that operates across the UK and Europe that focuses on HGV  Tanker Trailers and delivers work of a high standard to their customers. The Role I am looking for a HGV Workshop Manager based in Ellistown, Leicester for a workshop that specialises in HGV tankers.. You will be responsible for the daily operation of the workshop, planning and loading the workshop for staff availability to achieve maximum productivity. You willprogress and maintain work through the workshop, prioritising repairs in line with customers? and business demands while minimising vehicle downtime and ensuring quality tanker repairs are carried out in the workshop. You will encourage good workshop practices to provide a safe, tidy and hazard-free working environment. ·You will control overtime working in line with maintenance requirements, ensure all staff follow Company procedures and adhere to servicing and inspection schedules and identify opportunities to explore the manufacturer?s warranty and goodwill schemes to best advantage. You will provide prompt and accurate repair and damage quotations, reflecting competitive pricing for parts procurement and generate third party revenue from service and repairs for the workshop from new and existing customers. We require a ?Time Served? technician or a technician who possess City & Guilds Full Technicians Certificate or any equivalent qualification, a good technical background, a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to driving 100% customer satisfaction. You will have excellent communication skills/ability to communicate at all levels with good use of questioning techniques You will have a Driving License ? Full and valid The role is based in Leicester and the hours are 45 per week across 5 days with a 30 min unpaid lunch. Requirements for HGV Workshop Manager: HGV experience, ?Time Served? technician, City & Guilds Full Technicians Certificate or any equivalent qualification, a good technical background, a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to driving 100% customer satisfaction, excellent communication skills, Driving License ?
