Mobile Fabric Engineer, Leicester

Role Overview We are looking for a temporary Mobile Fabric Engineer to work as part of the FM Team, undertaking a range of duties and tasks including reactive works to the building fabric and built elements, minor works and variations and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). This role will be supporting the direct operational activities of the Contract in respect of value for money and asset management. Some of your main responsibilities will require you to plan, resource and undertake remedial works arising from PPM, reactive repairs and maintenance tasks, close tasks in a timely and satisfactory manner to comply with contractual timeframes, to update PPM records to evidence statutory compliance and to meet G4S Health and Safety policy and Safe Systems of Work. You will ensure the daily recording of tasks, events and actions is carried out and reported as appropriate, undertake works under ANC/Variations including preparation of work schedules, costs and quotes and requested works, provide appropriate guidance to contractors and employees to ensure a safe working environment and to comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required. Essential Criteria * PASMA Safe use of a Scaffold Tower or Mobile Tower * IPAF Certification * Asbestos Awareness * Operational experience of maintenance and repairs to building fabric * Working knowledge of materials and products * Knowledge in relevant Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permit to Work procedures * Full Driving Licence with Category Part BE Desirable Criteria * Qualified to minimum of HNC or equivalent in a Building discipline * Water Hygience ? Legionella Awareness Course * IT literacy in MS Office Suite This is a temporary role for 3-6 months, 40 hours a week Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm Salary £28,000 per annum pro rata
