This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sheet Metal Welder / Fabricator to join a modern, fast-paced workshop with excellent long-term prospects.The Role As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated components and assemblies while working from detailed engineering drawings. Duties Include: TIG and MIG welding of stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel Fabrication work on materials from 1.0mm 12mm thicknessWelding sub-assemblies and main assemblies using jigs or freehand methods Pipework fabrication and welding Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances Sanding and grinding components to required finish standards Building assembly weld fixtures Supporting continuous improvement within the workshopWhat Were Looking For Strong experience in thin gauge TIG&MIG welding Proven sheet metal fabrication experience Ability to work confidently from engineering drawings Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel Good attention to detail and quality standards Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Engineering apprenticeship or City&Guilds welding/fabrication qualifications desirable Whats On Offer Regular overtime paid at 1.5x rate Bonus scheme 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 37.5 hour working week Pension scheme Sick pay scheme Modern workshop with high-spec machinery and equipment Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing engineering businessTPBN1_UKTJ
