Job Title: Sous Chef Location: Lichfield Salary:£35,000 £37,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, Rota-based schedule across 7 days , including weekends Benefits: 3% Pension Contribution Employment Type: Permanent Role Overview We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef on behalf of a prestigious members sports establishment based in Lichfield. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-quality venue with a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen , offering an excellent working environment for culinary professionals.The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality food for members and guests, contributing to a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Support the preparation and delivery of the members menu , ensuring consistency and quality.Assist with catering for club matches as required. Work across breakfast, lunch, and early evening service depending on seasonal demand. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation . Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company procedures. Assist in stock control, food preparation, and general kitchen operations.Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team. Skills&Experience Required: Previous experience working as a Sous Chef. Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment . Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong teamwork and communication abilities.Passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
