Civil Engineer, Lisburn

An established civil engineering company is looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who's alreayd gained some experience in their career but who still wants to develop further and get t owork across a varied mix of civil infrastructure, drainage, highways, earthworks and geotechnical-related projects . The role would suit an engineer who enjoys practical design work, problem solving and using modern digital design tools.You will be involved in projects from early-stage feasibility through to detailed design and construction support, working closely with experienced engineers in a technically focused team. The Role You will support the delivery of civil engineering design work, including: Producing drawings, models and design information using AutoCAD and Civil 3DSupporting drainage, highways, levels, earthworks and infrastructure design Preparing technical reports, calculations, design notes and project documentation Assisting with geotechnical assessments and interpretation of ground investigation information Supporting site inspections, surveys and construction-stage queriesHelping ensure designs consider safety, buildability, quality and value Working collaboratively with engineers, clients, contractors and project teams Contributing to digital engineering, BIM and improved design workflows About You The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Civil Engineering or similarPrevious industry experience Good knowledge of AutoCAD Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D would be advantageous Understanding of drainage, infrastructure, earthworks or highways Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills A proactive attitude and interest in progressing towards ChartershipWhat's on Offer Varied civil engineering and infrastructure project work Exposure to both civil and geotechnical design Support towards Chartership and professional development Opportunity to develop strong Civil 3D and digital design capability Close support from experienced engineers This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Civil Engineer looking to broaden their technical experience and progress their career within a supportive consultancy team.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
