School Caretaker, Liverpool

School Caretaker needed for Liverpool Your new company Hays Education are currently working with a Liverpool school looking for a caretaker to join their site team. Your new role The Liverpool school are looking for an interim caretaker to cover sickness of the current post holder. Starting asap you will be responsible for the security and maintenance of the school and grounds. Day to day duties will include: Opening and closing the site according the schools H&S and security policies Supporting the cleaning staff with duties as needed Internal maintenance including basic joinery and plumbing Alarm and water testing Ensuring heating and lighting systems are working correctly Portage duties External maintenance including litter picking and mowing Shifts are split, 7.30 - 10.30 and then 2 - 6. What you'll need to succeed Prior school experience is an advantage but not essential. You will need to have worked in a role with key holding responsibility and reference-able experience in maintenance/ trade or security roles within the last 2 years.
