Lead Embedded Software Engineer ? County Durham ? up to £50,000 + Benefits ? Ref 154 I?m currently recruiting for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to work for a globally recognised engineering organisation based in County Durham. Salary up to £50,000 + Benefits. The organisation has been in operation for nearly 40 years and employ over 150 people at their state-of-the-art facility in the UK where they design, develop and manufacture their highly sophisticated products. To support the growth plans of the business and to cope with the workload they have forecast they have the need to appoint a Lead Embedded Software Engineer on a permanent basis. In this role as a Lead Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for spearheading the Embedded Firmware design and development and will have complete autonomy within this area. You will be working in a multi-disciplined team of engineers consisting of electronics, hardware and mechanical. You will also be expected to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Whilst this is very much a hands-on role you will be expected from time to time to get involved in leadership / managerial duties.
