Electrical Project Engineer, Keighley

Elevation Recruitment Group are please to be working with a Special Purpose Machinery manufacturer, based in North Yorkshire to recruit an Electrical Project Engineer. My client is a well-established and pioneering special purpose machinery manufacturer, designing, building and installing bespoke equipment to a variety of sectors. The Electrical Project Engineer will oversee electrical design and technical specifications, through to onsite installation and commissioning. They will maintain documentation and ensure all safety standards and industry regulations are met. The Electrical Project Engineer's duties will include: * Work with various departments to ensure specifications and quotations are accurate * Oversee the electrical & automation design process and ensure budget, time and technical specifications are met * Lead Electrical Design and software teams and drive standards in quality * Monitor progress of the PLC logic and HMI software design * Act as technical contact for customers, solving problems and advising of progress * Participate in design and project review meetings * Specify and procure electrical components, automation control systems etc. * Onsite support of installation, software and commissioning teams Elevation Recruitment Group would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills & experience: * Qualified in Electrical Engineering, HND minimum * Successful track record of Project Management/Engineering * Experience in design and build of special purpose machinery * Knowledge of electrical and automation equipment within OEM businesses * Able to produce designs from customer specifications, P&IDs and I/O lists * Functional safety knowledge * Comfortable with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN) * Understanding of PLC control systems * History of working in ATEX environments This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business.
