Software Developer, BA15

We are looking for a Software Developer to join the Software Development Team working with the advanced Vehicle Driving Simulator (aVDS) and Axle NVH machine (ANVH) as well as track-based robots when necessary. Responsibilities * Architect/Design and create new features and interfaces for our front-end code * Drive development of our cutting-edge new software products * Engage with customers during all phases of development * Collaborate in our energetic team of agile developers * Work alongside project engineers at our company sites, or at the test track * Solve challenging issues in the codebase, and implement those solutions Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Essential * Knowledge of C# * Some experience of software development tasks * Computing, Maths, Science or Engineering degree Beneficial * Knowledge of SOLID principles beneficial * Understanding of all aspects of development cycle (requirements, specification, development, debug, testing, release, deployment) ? including Git/JIRA/TeamCity or equivalent Person Specification * Bright and hard-working * Dynamic and able to engage fully with tasks * Interest and passion for programming * Background interest in engineering * Mathematical and logical brain JOIN US We?re an innovative, dynamic company in one of the most interesting areas of automotive engineering.
