Gate & Security Systems Engineer Basic salary £30,000 - £35,000 OTE - £43,000 A small but well-known security and gate maintenance specialist is currently looking to expand its engineering department, targeting an additional Engineer to cover the South East. The company doesn't operate an out of hours call out rota or work at weekends therefore, this role would suit an Engineer who is searching for a position with a better work-life balance. As a Gate & Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for: Installing, servicing, and maintaining automatic gates, barriers, manual gates, and turnstiles Installing, servicing, and maintaining, intercoms, access control systems, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems. Occasionally working on swing and sliding door systems, manufactured by companies such as Assa Abloy, and Record UK. Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment. Electrical wiring. Adhering to BS EN 16005 standards. Adhering to Gate-Safe Legislation. The successful Gate & Security Systems Engineer will have: Experience working on Gate Systems Experience working on Security Equipment Good electrical wiring and fault finding skills Preferably installed automatic swing and sliding doors. A valid EN 16005 certificate. A Gate-Safe or DHF Diploma. A clean driving licence. A CSCS Card or ECS Card.
