Graduate Quality Auditor West Wales 16753/617 £20,000 - £26,000 A market leading manufacturer, this company is looking to recruit an Internal Auditor for their expanding West Wales production site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Internal Auditor to join an established growing organization and have the opportunity to develop skills and gain valuable experience in engineering and production. My client would be interested in speaking to any graduates who are looking to further their career in leading manufacturer Role & Responsibilities: - To write and follow a scheduled audit programme for internal audits throughout the year. Including a scope, which covers the implementation of the HACCP, TACCP/VACCP programme, prerequisite programmes and procedures, to achieve standards. - To conduct audits of the quality system and verify whether activities comply with the documented procedures, policies and work instructions to ensure food safety, legality and quality are maintained. Also evaluating the effectiveness of the procedures. - Preparing audit reports to highlight issues/problems and distribute these audit reports to the relevant people and following up all non-conformances to ensure these have been resolved. - Carry out site mock recall test. - Conduct independent site hygiene audits. - To provide a summary of conformity and non-conformity, recording objective evidence, providing records, investigate root cause & risk and record the corrective actions taken. - Managing and maintaining Supplier approval list, including Raw materials and packaging. - Risk assessing raw material suppliers and conducting supplier audits where necessary. - Manage customer and regulatory requirements in relation to traceability assessment, internal auditing, testing and control. - Supporting customer / third party audits. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: - A graduate in a Food related degree - In-depth audit experience against suppliers, BRC, customer codes of practice - HACCP knowledge - Must have experience in Food/Pharma/FMCG environment Benefits Package - A starting salary of £20,000 - £26,000 DOE - Discount on local gym membership - Subsided canteen on site - Company pension - Death in service - On site parking We regret that this client is not prepared to sponsor work permit or work permit transfer applications.
