Industrial Cleaner, Harrogate

We are recruiting for a experience Industrial Cleaner for one of our clients in Ripon. You MUST have had experience of high-pressure jet wash /steam wash systems. You will be required to do the following: Tidy work area, removing any pallets, packaging etc. To remove refuse form work area & stations and dispose in appropriate bins I.e Cardboard, Mixed waste, Food grade waste bins. Remove and dismantle appropriate machinery before applying foam sanitisers To steam power wash & sanitise the following: All refuse bins before returning to Factory Food grade plastic storage trays Apply sanitising foam and detergents to work stations before washing down. Factory walls Move machinery to thoroughly clean, removing all food debris, fat, blood etc from all surfaces. Applying detergents and detergents to factory flooring. Scrape and power wash all floors with the work area, scraping away any excess water.On site training will be given. You must be aware that thorough cleaning is required and all food debris etc must be completely washed/cleaned away. This will require manual handling of machinery and dexterities in manoeuvring the equipment to thoroughly wash all areas. You will be expected to work within a wet, chilled environment without supervision. You will also be expected to use sanitising, degreasing and bleaching chemicals.
