Wood Machinist, Liverpool

Proactive Personnel Ltd is now recruiting for a Wood Machinist / Tool Room Technician for our client in Widnes for an immediate start. Duties As a Wood Machinist / Tool Room Technician your duties will be: * Grinding and maintenance of profile and straight knife cutters * Involved in the set up and operating of Weinig machinery (moulders) * Operating cross cut saw * Operate powermat & unimat * Operating brand re-saw * Supporting the Production Supervisor and working together closely Experience Required For this Wood Machinist / Tool Room Technician the right candidate will have: * Experience operating timber moulders (Weinig / Leadermac) * Worked in timber based positions before * Previous experience operating cross-cut, radial arm and brand re-saws * To be able to show capability of following written instructions Desirable skills * Powermat, Unimat, Rondomat moulders would be a distinct advantage * Understanding the importance of quality control * Experience as a tool room technician * Multitasking * Excellent attention to detail Information * Monday ?
