Semi Senior Accountant - Biggleswade

Accounts Semi-Senior - Biggleswade AJ Chambers are currently looking for a semi senior accountant to join a Leading regional firm that has been established for over 80 years. Their 60+ strong team of tax and accounting professionals currently operate from multiple offices across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, and are looking to recruit a semi senior for their Biggleswade office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 year's accounts experience in a practice background. Responsibilities will include: * Accounts preparation and review, for sole traders, partnerships, and SME limited companies for subsequent partner review * Preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns * Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns * Provision of support to junior members of the team, where necessary * Preparation of VAT Returns * Ad hoc preparation of management accounts * Involvement in audit engagements * Assisting with statutory work and filings Position requirements: * Relevant qualification desirable, but not essential.
