Applications & Web Developer, Liverpool

An established public sector organisation in Merseyside are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Applications & Web Developer to develop and provide continuous improvement for the organisations evolving business applications and websites. Your daily responsibilities will include responsibility for the ongoing and continuous development of a range of business applications and websites, alongside contributing to and supporting large scale IT systems projects. Essential experience: ? Demonstrable experience of development of applications and websites within a large scale and complex IT environment ? Experience of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle Database, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, DBaaS, etc) ? In depth knowledge of web development/service protocols (such as REST, SOAP, BEEP, CTS etc) ? Experience of web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Django, Vue.js etc) ? Experience of adhering to/creating best practices (source code repository, security best practices, testable/reliable code etc) ? Understanding of testable or reliable code ? Experience of front and back-end frameworks would be highly desirable for this role (but is not essential) ?
