Prospero Health and Social are looking for dedicated and passionate Senior Residential Care Workers for EBD home in the Kirkby area. The position is permanent and offers ongoing career development. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Kirkby Position - Senior Children's Residential Care Worker Type of work - supporting children in a children's home EBD and challenging behaviours Start date - asap Permanent Role Contract type - Permanent Full time £9.87 per hour + £45 per sleep with 2 sleeps a week average (10.87 if already completed Level 5) Hours - working 2 on 4 off, 8.30am -11pm sleep, 8.30am -11pm sleep, 8.30am - 9am handover EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Essential Level 3 Children & Young people is essential Previous experience working in a UK children's Home as a Team Leader Driver with full clean driving licence Desirable Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willing to work towards First Aid Health and Safety Safeguarding training/qualification TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE , YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related referencesIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV or alternatively please contact Suzanne Platt on (phone number removed) or (phone number removed)
