Operations Manager ? Learning Disabilities Berkshire £45,000 ? £50,000 per year We are currently assisting a Market Leader in health & social care provisions to find an Operations Manager to be responsible for a cluster of services in the Berkshire area. Services are comprised of predominantly supported living and care homes for Adults and Children with Learning disabilities and associated behaviours that challenge. Responsibilities The role will suit a commercial focused individual who is able to lead and assist their own team of service managers. The role holder will be expected to offer guidance and advice with regards to Quality assurance, healthcare best practice and P&L management. There will also be a strategic expectance on the Operations Manager to identify opportunities to expand or streamline service offerings in their region. The role reports directly to the MD. Requirements - An understanding of Healthcare services within the field of Learning Disabilities and complex needs. - Experience liaising with key stakeholders and local authorities in the operation of a care home or healthcare provision. - Knowledge of the legislation, guidelines and care standards involved in the provision of Helath and social care services. - Some formal education in Health and Social care would be beneficial although not essential, e.g Level 5 Diploma in Healthcare management. - MUST be a driver as there will be extensive travel required, sometimes to remote locations.
