At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Distribution&EV team. We’re working hard to make safe, quality, sustainable EV projects a reality. Our teams install charging stations, ensuring they are accessible and reliable, and ingrate them into the energy network. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor,  you’ll be part of our  EV Business  who are responsible for the Design&Delivery of EV Charging, Solar and Battery storage installations as one-off projects and within long term framework agreements with several key Charge Point Operators. The EV sector is a key area of growth for M Group Energy. We’re looking to build our existing team to take advantage of the extensive opportunities within the EV sector that will result from not only “business as usual” work activities, but also additional works that will result from the journey to Net Zero!Precontract supply chain management Support the estimating team in the pricing of sites and production of tender stage subcontract enquiries Production and agreement of monthly client applications for payment Supporting the production of monthly cost and value reports Supporting the production of monthly site cost and margin forecastsSubcontract procurement and production of subcontracts Administer subcontracts and payment processes Supporting the identification and management of contract change process and procedures Close liaison with, and provision of assistance to all operational and support staff to enable overall effective management of a projectWhat you’ll bring Experience in a similar role in an electrical or civils business Preferably Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant business discipline Non-degree holders should have a demonstrable experience in similar roles Good verbal and written communication skills&excellent numeracy skills Use of Microsoft Office applications– high level knowledge of Excel Confident, positive, committed and enthusiastic Accurate and timely provision of information Full UK Driving Licence What’s in it for you?
