Connect Appointments is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join an established fresh produce business based in Livingston on a full-time temporary basis.

Our client operates a busy food production facility, requiring reliable and detail-oriented operatives to support packing and distribution across a revolving rota that includes weekend working.

What's on offer?

• Full-time temporary position, 40 hours per week
• 5 days out of 7, 6am to 3pm on a 6-week revolving rota
• £12.71 per hour, paid weekly

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Setting up production lines and ensuring materials are correctly positioned at the start of each shift
• Selecting, packing, labelling and sealing fresh produce to customer specifications including count, weight, colour and origin
• Operating scanners, pallet trucks, MHE and computer equipment safely in line with health and safety procedures
• Completing quality checks, segregating rejected produce and managing label stock accurately
• Completing all required paperwork and liaising with supervisors, QA and production teams to minimise downtime

To be considered as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• A basic level of computer literacy
• Knowledge of fresh produce and health and safety procedures is advantageous — pallet truck training will be provided
