Plant Fitter / Maintenance Engineer Location: Broxburn, West Lothian Salary:£34,000 £40,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime hours An established and growing business based in Broxburn is looking to recruit a hands-on Plant Fitter / Maintenance Engineer to support the ongoing maintenance of machinery, equipment, vehicles, yard operations and warehouse facilities.This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable getting involved across both machinery maintenance and general site upkeep. The Role You will be responsible for helping keep the site running efficiently, including: Maintaining, repairing and servicing plant, machinery and site equipmentCarrying out general maintenance around the yard, warehouse and wider site Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs where possible Supporting with preventative maintenance to reduce downtime Ensuring machinery, tools and equipment are safe and fit for use Assisting with improvements across the yard and operational areasWorking closely with the wider team to support day-to-day operations The Person We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical background who is practical, reliable and happy to turn their hand to different tasks.
