Job Overview

To actively participate as a member of the Theatre PACU Team and be responsible for contributing to the efficiency of the department. Under supervision, to assist in delivering individualised care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Providing support for the delivery of higher standard care to patients within the theatre complex, within the PACU.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the theatre.
• Assisting theatre staff by giving individualized care to patients.
• The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Education and Qualifications

• Good standard of education / adult literacy
• Complete NVQ in Operating Department Support in 2.5 years

• Is enthusiastic and cheerful
• Keen to increase knowledge and develop skills
• Able to accept constructive criticism
• Health care experience

Desirable Criteria

• Manual handling
• NVQ 2 in Care related subject
• Ability to speak Welsh
