Quantity Surveyor, residential new build, Ealing, Ealing Broadway

My client whom is a leading residential main contractor who specialise in build medium rise large scale developments across are looking to expand they team. The Quantity Surveying role with be working on a £80m project in Ealing, West London. The project involves the construction of 333 residential units (inclusive of several commercial units) within three medium rise concrete frame, brick clad blocks constructed over two phases. The role primarily consists of: * leading on the day to day management of numerous sub-contract packages (notices to commence, payment notices, notices of delay, contra charge notices, non-completion notices, producing considered and robust liabilities etc.) * attending project meetings (sub-contract progress meetings, design meetings, team meetings etc.) * assisting the resident senior surveyor in all aspects of the commercial project management of the project including value engineering exercises, identifying and valuing changes, formulating monthly internal and external reports, preventing design creep, tracking progress etc.) * assisting in the development of junior team members * assisting with the Main Contract administration Candidates shall: * have a minimum of two years relevant experience performing the role of Contract Surveyor * have experience in managing the following packages: groundworks, concrete frame, structural framing systems, scaffold, brickwork, curtain walling, windows, roof finishes, mechanical and electrical * be degreed qualified preferably a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management or Construction Management * have a minimum of five years relevant main contractor surveying experience * preferably situated in West London
