Production Operatives, Whaley Bridge

Kinetic recruitment is working in partnership with our client in Whaley Bridge to provide Operatives to join their busy chemical manufacturing site. It is an exciting opportunity to join a busy / growing company on their afternoon shift, working 4pm - 10pm Monday until Thursday and 2pm to 8pm Friday. The role is 30 hours per week, £10 per hour. The Role: * Working on a fast-paced production line, taking finished products off lines for the next stage of the process * Loading lines with raw ingredients and containers * Working picking products and ensuring packed correctly for dispatch * Working with various machinery in the labelling department and loading machinery throughout the production process * Completing quality control checks throughout the process * Candidates will be required to work in a number of work stations and therefore must be able to multi task. * Experience of a high-volume manufacturing environment is essential. * Completing all production paperwork as and when required. * Working on a production line responsible for following standard operations * Responsible for own quality to ensure that the standard is up to the customer specification. * Carry out all production team tasks effectively and efficiently. * Play an active role in a culture of continuous improvement. * Work effectively as part of a team to achieve the team goals. * Report all hazards or potential hazards in the accident / incident books. The Applicant: * Must have experience in a manufacturing or production environment * Due to the nature of the role candidates must be physically fit * Must hold experience of working on a production line * Successful candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Must be able to work in a team environment * Must have a good attention to detail * Candidates must be flexible in the approach to work, available to work in various different departments * Candidates should have a good level of numeracy and literacy and be able to complete relevant paperwork as and when required.
