Service Manager ? Hydraulic Plant Equipment Attachments Location ? London Salary - £30,000 to £35,000 Our client is a specialist in the hire, sales & service of hydraulic attachments, including augers, breakers, buckets, grabs, pile croppers and much more. They boast a large excavator attachment fleets, therefore being able to offer an attachment for all applications. An opportunity has become available for a passionate and proactive Service Manager to manage a busy service department, as well as helping in other areas of the business when needed. They are looking for a versatile & proactive fast learner with the ability to think on your feet and manage a busy workload. The Role ? Service Manager ? Hydraulic Plant Equipment Attachments: Some of your key responsibilities will include: * Assist MD with technical requirement ? hire fleet utilisation and maintenance (analytics) * Ensuring all data is stored on the system (certs, PDI, maintenance records) * Assist Parts Manager with issues relating to in-house repairs * Assist Hire Desk Manager with on-site breakdown management * Booking external contractors to attend site breakdowns * Daily transport preparation (run sheets) * Maintenance of the existing motor fleet * MOT, Trackers, lorry inspections, tacho, dash cams * Fuel Cards- usage & issuing * FORS renewals * In periods of absence or increased workloads assist/deputise for the Hire Desk Manager in running a busy hire desk The Person - Service Manager ? Hydraulic Plant Equipment Attachments: The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: * Experience as a Service Manager or similar within hydraulic attachments / heavy plant equipment / civil engineering * Strong people management skills * Ability to prioritise according to the demands of a busy depot * Used to working to tight deadlines * Excellent customer service skills * Experience using Insphire hire software would be beneficial * Proactive approach to problem solving * Able to communicate effectively at all levels * Ambitious * Full driving licence NB: If contacting the Kevin Edward switchboard number, to help us direct your call, the Consultant handling this advert is based in the Leeds office
