You will be responsible for supporting the Design technology department in setting up equipment and practicals. Workshop skills will be an advantage but not essential. We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious team player to join their Design Technology team and support teaching across the department. The successful candidate will set up practical classroom teaching, work with individual students and small groups, and prepare and maintain workshops involving woodwork and metal work machines and equipment. This post would particularly suit someone who has recent experience of working in a similar role, expertise in setting up machines and using tools, or qualifications in joinery, metal work or other material-related trades.
