Mechanical Supervisor You will be permanently working from HMP Belmarsh Salary: £36000 to £39000? per annum (depending on experience and suitability) Contract: Full time, Permanent We are Gov Facility Service Ltd, a non-profit company owned entirely by the Ministry of Justice, supplying facilities management services to 50 prisons over the South and East of the UK with an employee count of 1400. We are seeking a ?Mechanical Supervisor to assume responsibility for ensuring all mechanical and other systems are maintained in alignment with the service specification, industry best practice and regulatory requirements including business led compliance activities. You will also take accountability for the supervision of all staff within their area of responsibility and other site staff as required, providing direction on the work for the day and that relevant work area is maintained to a high standard You will be an exceptional Mechanical Supervisor? at the top of your game, with at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role. You must be able to demonstrate the following Qualifications and Experience: * ? Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent. ? Five years experience as a plumber or equivalent ? Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements. ? Experience working on commercial or industrial heating and water or building services systems ? Qualified electrician with experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems is desirable.
