Senior Java Developer - IB, City of London

A dynamic Investment Bank in the City of London is now looking to recruit a Senior Java Developer to join their robust and fast paced Trading Desk on a permanent basis. This role is offering a base of £85,000 to £95,000 + excellent benefits. To be considered for this role you will need: *A strong background in Java Development - ideally Java 11 *A high-level understanding of Asset Classes particularly Swaps, Cash and interest rate products eg. IRS, bonds *A broad knowledge of open source Java libraries and frameworks *Knowledge of some of the following: ION, ZeroMQ, Google Protocol Buffers, Kryo and KDB etc *An excellent understanding of all stages of the software development lifecycle *Past experience working Linux and Windows environments *Strong knowledge of Agile Development *Experience working in a distributed team *Excellent written and verbal communication skills If you are an experienced Senior Java Developer with the required skills, please respond in the first instance with an up to date version of your CV for review.
