Flexible Shifts | Great Benefits | Experience Essential An experienced Pharmacist with a background in cancer and chemotherapy services is required to join the Pharmacy Cancer Services team of a leading West London hospital. You will screen and check prescriptions for cytotoxic, clinical trial materials and IV additives, ensuring a safe and accurate service along with supervising and supporting junior and pre-registration staff and participating in clinical audits and governance. What we are looking for in a Band 7 Senior Pharmacist: * GPC Registered Pharmacist (qualified to MSc in Pharmacy + pre-registration training) * Demonstrate proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in a range of clinical settings including technical services, and accredited to screen and final check cytotoxic chemotherapy prescriptions * Have completed the following courses: Aseptic Preparation & Dispensing of Medicines, Aseptics for Section Managers & Advanced Aseptic Preparation, ideally in addition to a teaching qualification * Experienced in a leadership role and able to deliver effective line management and clinical leadership, plus able to support staff in their professional development and deliver appraisals, training and feedback * Well organised with strong planning, IT and assessment/evaluation skills and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills To apply for this post, or for further details, please follow the link below.
