Platform Engineer, London

This role will be responsible for building functional systems to keep environments running smoothly. Engineers responsibilities will include continuous integration & delivery pipeline, cloud & datacentre infrastructure and site reliability Key accountabilities: Own the platform and CI/CD pipelines Champion the DevOps culture within your squad Improve the deployment process to make it as simple and efficient as possible Document every action so findings turn into repeatable actions and then into automation Design, build and maintain core infrastructure Debug platform issues across services and levels of the stack Plan the growth of infrastructure to support products and services Skills/Experience: Proven track record as an Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform or Site Reliability Engineer Excellent working knowledge of AWS and experience building production grade infrastructure in AWS Familiarisation with cloud architecture concepts (Cost optimisation, High Availability, Fault Tolerance) Experience with IAAC build tools (ie Terraform), server configuration & automation tools (ie Ansible, Chef, Puppet), CI/CD tools & platforms, system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks Thorough understanding of the DevOps culture and squad mentality in software development Previous experience mentoring & coaching team members Please apply now for more information
