Warehouse Supervisor, Corby

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with expertise within the logistics sector, to join a one of the UK's leading freight forwarding businesses on a full-time permanent basis. You will join the team in Corby, Northamptonshire. The successful Warehouse Supervisor will assist the Warehouse Manager in managing the staff effectively within the department, with emphasis on performance to ensure that work is delegated to the team efficiently. You will ensure processes are adhered to, minimising count issues and promoting accuracy within the department. In the role you will undertake staff training and development as required, including new starters and manage staff performance effectively with support from the Warehouse Manager. You will always ensure acceptable quality standards are always adhered to and all jobs are signed off as completed accurately. You will also manage and utilise effectively MHE and ancillary equipment, whilst complying with Health & Safety procedures always, ensuring good housekeeping and a clean and tidy work area. This is the ideal position for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with previous experience, preferably in a 3PL environment. You will possess strong organisational skills and a key eye for detail that is committed to ensuring an efficient service is delivered to our customers within their specified guidelines and timescales. This is a fast-paced environment and it is equally important that you can react promptly and with confidence to ad-hoc requests and organisational demands The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (rotating). Salary for this opportunity is £22k-£25k plus benefits, depending on experience.
