Mechanic, Sittingbourne

There is now a vacancy for a Mechanic to join a small but friendly auto centre in Sittingbourne. Salary package for the Mechanic is c£28,000 - £30,000. The role is Permanent and full-time. As Mechanic you will be responsible for undertaking repairs and contributing to MOT testing on cars and light vehicles. An MOT test certificate is an advantage (but not essential). The Mechanic will need to be able to undertake fault-finding and repairs on vehicle elements such as clutches and cam belts, as well as carrying out servicing and diagnostics. Ideally you will be qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle / Automotive Studies or equivalent, however compensating experience would be considered. The hours for the Mechanic are Mon-Fri (Apply online only), and some Saturday morning cover may also be required, however there can be negotiation on this, for example alternating weeks
