Night Hygiene Manager, Somerton

Night Hygiene Manager - Somerton Area - £30k PRO RATA My client is looking to recruit a Night Hygiene Manager for their site in Somerset.  The role is an immediate start and whilst initially temporary, the role could be permanent for the right candidate  The role will be Monday to Friday 5pm to 3am and it's a hands on working management position. You will be responsible for a team of 9 night hygiene operatives  Knowledge and Experience: You will enjoy challenging, problem solving roles and have experience of working in a fast paced food production environment. You should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Training in Food safety and hygiene practices is required and experience of BRC and other key retailer standards / audits would be highly desirable. Demonstrable leadership/people management experience Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail, self-motivated and continuous improvement focus A team player with excellent people and communication skills Good computer systems skills Skills: Knowledge of and the ability to train operatives on chemical safety Level 3 qualification in Food Safety (or equivalent) preferred - training will be given Hygiene management qualification highly desirable The successful candidate may have previously worked as a Night Production Manager, Night Shift Manager, Night Production Manager, Night Hygiene Manager, Hygiene Manager, Hygiene Supervisor.
