Driven by client solutions, Kybrook Ltd ensures that it provides bespoke building services management which results in optimal performance using new and innovative equipment and systems. As Lead Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that new buildings are mobilised and maintained, ensuring that all M&E aspects of a building are performing effectively and efficiently. This includes coordinating the maintenance of general HVAC systems and fabric maintenance. This role offers lots of progression and opportunity to develop skills and further your career. You will be looking after multi-skilled engineers across modern contracts in London. Engineers will be covering a range of skills from Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric, as well as some dealings with the helpdesk / administrative teams. Responsibilities * Offer day to day supervision, allocating work, assisting with technical issues and generally acting as the day to day manager. * Looking after any subcontracted labour on-site and will be acting as the main point of contact for any client issues or escalations. * Carry out audits and generally check work is completed in good fashion and in a timely manner. * Carry out tests on systems and making changes to plans where necessary. * Monitor the installation of services and manage their maintenance once new buildings are completed. * Carry out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks within M&E building services maintenance. * Looking after the reactive repairs for hard services. * Assisting with the pricing and mobilisation of new contracts. * Survey and quote remedial and new works. * Implementation of new systems, processes and procedures for better operational purposes. * Ensure client requirements and relationships are met and exceeded. * Draft PPM for site-specific. * Oversee engineering expenditure and budgeting and ensure the project value and material/labour costs are being adhered to. * Manage the recruitment and onboarding of engineers and on-site teams. * Deliver training for all engineers and ensure visibility and understanding of policies, processes and procedures. * Actively encourage energy consumption and other sustainability efficiencies. * Observe and maintain exemplary standards of Health & Safety and environmental legislation. Requirements/experience/qualifications * Proven experience in property/building services management (Min 5 years) * Mechanical or electrical maintenance background and will be familiar with HVAC systems * Experience of managing engineers in the past and happy to manage a small team of engineers. * Qualified to a recognised Building Services discipline. Apprenticeship/City and Guilds or degree level/HND in an engineering discipline. * Technical proficiency such as exemplary understanding of plant machinery and mechanical and electrical installation. Attributes * The holder of this role should be a bona fide ambassador of Kybrook Ltd. * This role is largely client-facing and so the holder of this role will have to demonstrate good verbal and written communication and a professional demeanour at all times
