Senior Structural Engineer My client were founded over thirty years ago and have grown into one of London's leading Structural Engineering consultancies. Quality, innovation, excellence in design and cost efficiency is at the forefront of their objectives. They have a vast experience in refurbishment projects, which include commercial as well as residential buildings. In addition, their experience extends in the design of new build structures, as well as design of specialist structural elements including structural glass. Due to securing further projects, they are looking for an Engineer to compliment one of their teams and are ideally looking for a Senior Engineer with 5-10 years UK experience working for a similar size Engineering Consultancy. The main project that is current being working on in this team is a multi-million pound project on going in Piccadilly. This contains multiple buildings, listed proerties and lother leisure facilities. It is crucial for this role that you have a knowledge of Temporary Works and are comfortable working autonomously. Other duties will include detailed design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber building structures. You will be responsible for structural steelwork connection design and detailing, letter and report writing, site inspection and surveys and the production of drawings and sketche You must have achieved at least a BEng 2:1, or better, in Civil Engineering or a related subject. With having 2 x ISTRUCTE Examiners and a current total of 9 Chartered Engineers in the office, they are in a great position to assist with the Chartership process, and will assist all Engineers in their pursuit of this goal.
