Social Worker - Leaving Care Team, Southwark

iPeople are currently recruiting for an Experienced Social Worker within a Leaving Care Team within South London. A Locum role Paying up to £28, You will be working with vulnerable children and young adults as well as their families, with the main aim of making a real difference to their lives. Southwark's 16 plus service has a dynamic workforce, with 6 tams headed by Experienced Team Managers. We care and support children looked after from the age of 16 up to 25 years as care leavers. We have amazing resources such as clinicians attached to our service, with 6 Experienced Practioner's who specialise  in Housing, Substance Misuse, Social Capital, Education, Employment and Training, Youth Work and Young Mothers. Each team has a strong identity. Team members  are collectively compassionate about being  corporate caring parents, supporting young adults grow and to  be the best version of themselves.  The post holder  is likely to  work with approximately 4  young people in our care  also  known to the Youth Offending Service or Probation. The Social Worker appointed will be expected to be organised, to record their work within 72 hours on Mosaic. They will  poses good engagement skills, have a sense of humour and relate to young people. Performance is tracked with 95% of visits, pathway plans and looked after reviews as our standard target so we remain reliable parents for our young people. presently  team members   are working from home full time, going out for face to face visits and holding weekly team meetings by video.  When you choose iPeople as your recruitment agency, you can expect: Your choices to be respected.
