Japanese Speaking Pre- Sales Engineer Manager, City of London

Our client, a successful, international telecommunications company, is seeking a Japanese Speaking Pre- Sales Engineer Manager to provide support and advice to its Pre- sales team, on a permanent basis. The role is based in the City of London and core hours will be 9am - 5.30pm. Our client is seeking a Japanese Speaking Pre- Sales Engineer Manager who has the flexibility to work outside of normal working hours when required and the ability to travel overseas when requested. It is essential that the Pre- Sales Engineer Manager is able to communicate fluently in Japanese - orally, written and reading. This is a great opportunity for a Japanese Speaking Pre- Sales Engineer Manager who has a CCNP or CCNA qualification and a minimum of 4 years' previous experience within a Pre- Sales Engineer position. The main responsibilities for the Japanese Speaking Pre- Sales Engineer Manager would include: *Manage, motivate and lead a small pre-sales team - offering training and advice when needed and carrying out HR duties, such as staff appraisals & absence reporting *Respond to technical elements of RFIs/RFPs as assigned *Actively manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process *Identify clients' needs with in-depth knowledge of products, technology & solutions *Co-ordinate customer projects - create proposals and reports on progress *Produce & develop project documentation *Ensure solution designs can be tested and support investigations involving the solutions *Pre-sales expansion including winning new business opportunities, preparing new quotations and contracts We are looking for Japanese Speaking Pre- Sales Engineer Managers who have: *Japanese speaker - Essential *A valid CCNP/ CCNA qualification - Essential *Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team - mentoring or delegating as necessary *Experience in maintenance and installation of network & server infrastructure *Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, SD-WAN, IoT *Customer facing experience and strong communication skills at all levels *The ability to be flexible, balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines May & Stephens Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
