Metrology Engineer / CMM Programmer, Mitcham, Circa £36,000 Depending on relevant experience A world leading organisation is seeking a Metrology Engineer / CMM Programmer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Mitcham. Working within a precision engineering environment the Metrology Engineer / CMM Programmer will be responsible for writing and developing measurement programmes as well as coordinating measurement machines. Other responsibilities include supporting metrology investigation / concerns as appropriate; completing internal compliance orders; suggesting and support corrective measures with the aim of better accuracy; providing support during product launch activities and conducting first article inspections. To be considered for this position candidates need to have proven CMM programming experience and as such have experience with Measure X and / or Calypso. It would be advantageous to have knowledge / experience in NPD, quality, OGP, using styluses. This position is commutable from Mitcham, Croydon, Wimbledon, Sutton, Bromley, Brixton, and all other surrounding areas.
