Key Responsibilities & Duties: ? Energy Centre- operating principle and requirements - Domestic/Commercial Gas meter installation, Combined Heat and Power units operation, balmoral tank commissioning( potable and non-potable tanks), draining down and cleaning the Boosted Cold Water tank, boosted cold water system / flushing and balancing, gas boilers operation, commissioning and problems with such boiler, maintaining the boilers, emergency cut off valve, controls and what would be the norm, principles of BMS in controlling the Energy Centre. ? Flues - installation and requirement for equipment's e.g. CHP; Boiler; Generators etc. ? Chiller - principles - adiabatic dry air cooler from Guntner, water softener, water cooled chillers, refrigerant type commissioning, operation, testing, the main problems ? Fire Sprinkler System commercial BS999 and residential BS 9251, fire pumps, regulatory requirements sprinkler plumbing system, sprinkler tank requirements, commissioning, testing. ? Dry/Wet riser system - installation, testing commissioning and compliance with relevant BS standards ? AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) - operation, regulatory requirements, testing, commissioning, principle ? Fan Coil Units - operation, commissioning and testing, How to QA, plenums, Diffusion FCU, experience with FCU, the problems, ? Comply with the ER's and project requirement ? Review of MEP services and coordinate with architect and wider design team ? Attend DTM meeting ? Arrange and coordinate meeting with MEP subcontractors on site on weekly basis ? Review and comment on design and subcontractor drawing ? Review and comment on O&M's and assist with compiling the H&S file ? Maintenance, installation. ? Snagging of all mechanical systems, installations. Writing QA procedures. ? Knowledge of commercial installations (minimum knowledge as Residential experience is critical)
