Attendance and Behaviour support outreach worker, Romford

We are presently assisting a client in recruiting a member of staff to join their growing team. Your main task will be to contribute to building capacity and better outcomes every day for children who have attendance, behavioural and emotional barriers to learning. The team comprises highly experienced, dedicated and well-regarded aspect specialists that provide support at both primary and secondary level. The service has a long established record for supporting schools and academies with Attendance and Behaviour Management. They have a thorough knowledge of the reporting requirements of Local Authorities and the DfE. The service is a multi-disciplinary team with a variety of skills and expertise in supporting schools, vulnerable families and students. The overall aim of the service is to promote student inclusion in the broadest sense. The aim is to improve the attainment of all children and young people by working in partnership with schools to build capacity for better outcomes for children who have a barrier to learning. To apply for this role, you will need to have experience of working with young people who require practical and emotional support. You must be flexible in your approach and able to work independently, manage your own time and appointments and be prepared to do some work from home whilst the effects of COVID19 are ongoing. The successful candidate will need to be able to provide a clear DBS and two professional references
