Warehouse Operative - Permanent Salary - £20,587.40 - £22,886 + £500 bonus Location: Alfreton Excellent Benefits Package As a Warehouse Operative within our supply chain your job will focus on the movement of raw materials, products and stock. You will also need to accurately record stock movement on the SAP system. Full training will be given on the relevant fork lift trucks (counterbalance and reach) as well as training to ensure you become a confident SAP system user. Skills, Experience and Qualifications required for this role: * The confidence to use computerised systems within a warehouse environment, ideally you'll have previous knowledge of a Warehouse Management System * The ability to work efficiently and accurately with numerical data * An eye for detail with the ability to spot inaccuracies or errors and escalate or challenge appropriately * A methodical approach to completing tasks with the ability to work within defined processes * The enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills, including being trained on a range of mechanical equipment including fork lift trucks You will be responsible for: * Using equipment such as fork lift trucks to safely move stock around the plant - from goods in and making sure lines are supplied in line with their requirements to processing returns and shipping product out. You will also be required to manually physically move product. * Accurately recording stock movements on the SAP system * Processing requests for raw materials, intermediate products and packaging in line with the production plan or as required * Following standards in key areas such health & safety, food safety, cost, performance and environmental targets * Following standard operating procedures, policies and ways of working Recruitment process * Candidates must be able to attend an assessment centre at the Alfreton site to be considered for the role. This is a permanent position on an annualised hours' contract basis with the ability to work a rotating shift pattern of Nights (10pm - 6am) Afternoons (2pm - 10pm) and Mornings (6am - 2pm). This pattern may change in line with production requirements, so a flexible approach is key.
