Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Business who will join a dynamic, growing and committed department. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional classroom teacher willing to embrace our drive to ensure that our existing and new provision is of the best quality; the role will commence immediately. The Business and Economics Department has grown in September. The improved outcomes and high levels of student engagement at GCSE Business and A-Level Economics mean that they will also offer GCSE Economics and Level 3 BTEC Business. Students enjoy learning and as a result they have a significant proportion of their sixth form studying in the department. You must have Qualified Teacher Status along with an academic qualification to degree level or above. You must have recent and relevant training and professional development in relation to the delivery of Level 3 BTEC, BTEC Business at KS5 and GCSE Business. Working knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum outline and requirements and exam board specifications. You will demonstrate knowledge of current Business Studies issues and any real-world context and knowledge of the process of Internal and External Verification. The successful candidate will demonstrate high standards of teaching and excellent classroom management skills. You will be promoting a positive ethos and good classroom management within Inner City Schools.
