Php Developer - Remote, London

PHP Developer Home based Circa £35,000 + Benefits This is a fantastic opportunity for you, an experienced PHP Developer / Web Developer to join a small but fast-growing business in the Healthcare Sector. Working from home (or from the central London office should you prefer), you will be responsible for all aspects of the Magento e-commerce website. In addition, you will project manage the migration / development of Magento ecommerce website (M1 to M2) and development of a new supporting app, in conjunction with outsourced development support. Responsibilities for the PHP Developer * Project manage a team of outsourced web developers for migration of Magento M1 to M2 of (in progress). * Work with the in-house graphic designer to develop an exciting new non-ecommerce content section for our website. * Ensure security patches and updates are applied and provide general website support (plus emergency out of hours as required). * Work with CEO, and small team of in-house illustrators and graphic designers to design an educational app, and project manage its development and delivery. * Assist marketing team with web optimisation / SEO, as required. * Develop new e-commerce functionality and/or digital products in future, as required. Skills Required for the PHP Developer * Strong PHP Development experience * Experience of developing and managing e-commerce websites on Magento community edition platform, with relevant professional certifications. * Experience of M1 to M2 migration would be an advantage. * Experience of project managing outsourced / agency web developers to deliver products on time and within budget. * Experience of app development would be an advantage. * Ability to work independently, to tight budgets and deadlines, and take sole responsibility for delivery of high-quality products. * Able to work from the London office 1 /2 days a week if required. This is not essential but could prove useful.
